Age of Empires 3 Cheats and Hints

Is Age 3 Fun?: That is a critical question right now as we near completion, and it is sometimes hard to gather data as we have been testing so much, tried so many iterations of features, and have bugs and balance issues causing problems. We have testimony about it being fun, and I have shared some of that previously. Karen Swanson, who manages much of our user testing, passed around some more feedback about the question of whether the game is fun at this point or not.

“I can tell you that “real people” think its fun. The playtests in Redmond and the testing I’ve done here is showing that. If our previous games were fun, this one is too because it’s testing as well as they ever did.”

We won’t know for sure until it ships, and expert and casual gamers may have very different opinions, but as far as we can tell at this point, the game overall is in good shape.
